As the Design Lead for Retail at Coral, a distinguished betting and entertainment company, I held the reins of all marketing endeavours. In this pivotal role, I played a central part in a variety of diverse projects. My responsibilities extended beyond creation, as I also provided support and leadership in developing engaging Point of Sale (POS) materials across both print and digital spaces. These initiatives spanned a wide spectrum of retail marketing campaigns, encompassing the exciting realms of sports and gaming.

My portfolio shows a snippet of work from my time working on Coral's campaigns, including the illustrious Cheltenham Festival and captivating gaming campaigns. Within these projects, I crafted a spectrum of eye-catching materials that adorned retail spaces, enticing and engaging customers. From striking window and in-shop posters that demanded attention to dynamic Out-of-Home (OOH) displays, each piece was designed to captivate the audience.

The journey continued with the creation of innovative betting terminals and platforms, seamlessly blending design aesthetics with functional excellence. Window vinyls breathed life into the excitement of the events, while digital screens transformed retail spaces into immersive hubs of entertainment. Additionally, a plethora of marketing collateral was created, including betting vouchers, informative leaflets, captivating booklets, enticing table toppers, and eye-catching standees, each playing a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience.

In my multifaceted role as Design Lead, I took on a diverse set of responsibilities. From conceptualising fresh and engaging ideas to overseeing the entire visual design process, my aim was to ensure brand consistency and visual excellence in every project. Approving artwork became a crucial aspect of my role, ensuring that each design element aligned seamlessly with Coral's branding ethos.

However, my role extended beyond the design realm. I provided invaluable support to our talented team of senior and junior designers, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration. Working closely with the marketing team, I ensured that our design concepts were perfectly aligned with campaign objectives, creating a cohesive brand narrative.

Throughout this journey, collaboration was key, as I engaged with various departments across the business. This collaborative spirit ensured that every project, whether large-scale campaigns or intricate POS designs, delivered not just aesthetically, but also functionally, creating memorable experiences for Coral's customers.
