Ayanae needed a visual identity that celebrated beauty, fashion and culture while creating a strong presence in an increasingly competitive market.

The brand champions Black owned beauty and lifestyle products, so it was important that the identity reflected both modern retail expectations and the cultural richness behind the business.

My Approach

I explored references from fashion, beauty and Afrocentric design to create an identity that felt contemporary while retaining authenticity and meaning.

The goal was to create something confident, memorable, versatile and connected to the clients heritage.

Bringing It To Life

I developed a bold visual identity supported by a carefully considered colour palette and typography system.

The logo was designed to work seamlessly across digital platforms, packaging and retail environments while reinforcing the brand's values, culture and personality.

Impact

The final identity gave Ayanae a distinctive and professional presence that helped position the brand confidently alongside established competitors while celebrating and amplifying underrepresented voices within the beauty industry.
