Sir McChesney George Secondary School – Crest Design
This project meant a lot personally. I designed a new crest for Sir McChesney George Secondary School in Barbuda (sister island to Antigua), where my family is from.
The brief was to create a symbol that students, staff, and the wider community could feel proud of — something that balanced tradition with a sense of progress. I designed a crest that featured the school’s house colours, inspired by the island’s native flowers: pink (Cedar), yellow (Logwood), and purple (Lignum Vitae).
The crest has since been rolled out across uniforms, signage, sports kits, and even the basketball court. It’s become a visible marker of school pride and identity — which is exactly what I’d hoped for..
